Job description

Sanitation Helper – Immediate Hire

A & Associates is actively hiring Sanitation Helpers for immediate placement in Daytona Beach, Florida. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and ready to begin work immediately. Individuals will support sanitation operations by collecting garbage, recyclables, and yard waste from residential and commercial routes throughout the Daytona Beach area. Responsibilities include proper handling of waste materials and maintaining clean streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces.

Under direct supervision, collects residential and commercial refuse on assigned routes throughout Daytona Beach and assists in the completion of daily service routes. Performs all related duties as assigned to support sanitation operations.

Minimum requirements:

  • Education equivalent to 8th grade
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Availability to work 4 ten hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as required Must be able to start immediately

Nature of work involves heavy manual labor in the collection and disposal of garbage, recyclables, and yard debris. Employees operate as part of a sanitation crew servicing Daytona Beach routes. Duties require continuous physical activity, exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and handling of waste materials. Work is performed under the direction of the truck driver or crew leader.
