Job description

Our client, a leading organization in infrastructure and datacenter services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician to join their onsite team in New Carlisle, IN. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to quality work, aligning successfully with the organizationโ€™s goals and values.

Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician

Location:New Carlisle, IN

Pay Range:ย $23.50 per hour
*Schedule: Wed-Sat (10 hours) 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

What's the Job?

  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber optic cabling in data center environments.
  • Perform physical installation of network and server racks, patch panels, and related devices.
  • Coordinate daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.
  • Utilize ticketing systems and communication tools to track and report the status of tasks.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA) are a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure installation, or cabling.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, and servers.
  • Comfortable working in physical, hands-on roles involving cable termination, racking, and equipment deployment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
