Housekeeping Manager Position Overview:

The Cabin Crew Manager (Housekeeping Manager) will supervise the operations of the Cabin Crew Team while promoting a safe and friendly environment. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest YOTEL standards.

Housekeeping Manager Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicates both verbally and written, with all level of crew members and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by crew members and guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approaches all encounters with guests and crew members in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Attends all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Enforce personal appearance and uniform policy to Cabin Crew.
  • Comply with YOTEL Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Assigns tasks to cabin and house crew members to comply with cleanliness levels as per YOTEL Standards.
  • Conducts weekly inventory of cabin crew supplies.
  • Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Ensures team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
  • Conducts routine inspections of vacant/occupied cabins, VIP cabins, show cabins and public areas with above average attention to detail to ensure that cleanliness meets hotel standards.
  • Familiar with all VIP?s and groups in house.
  • Assists in on-boarding and training of all Cabin Crew members.
  • Completes all other miscellaneous tasks assigned by Director of Cabin Crew.
