Join our team at Fountain View at Logan Square as a Dining Room Server. 

Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services  

Part-time, 4pm-8pm and 12:30pm-5pm on Sundays, Full weekend availability

$15.45 per hour (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for Dining Room Server:

  • Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation and meal service to residents, ensuring meals are served in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

  • Provide friendly, attentive service that fosters a positive, enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and food-service equipment in accordance with safety and infection-control standards.

  • Follow directions regarding compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, stocking supplies, and preparing dining areas to create an inviting environment.

  • Communicate resident preferences, concerns, and special dietary requests to appropriate team members to support individualized care.

  • Work collaboratively as a team player, willingly assisting wherever needed to ensure smooth dining operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications for Dining Room Server:

  • High school diploma preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Prior work experience with food preparation or customer service is a plus.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
