Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Auburn, NY

Salary: $55,000-$75,000 (DOE) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

AVStar Fuel Systems is a leader in the design, manufacture, and overhaul of carburetors and fuel injection systems for general aviation piston aircraft. We are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer Machinist to join our Auburn, NY team.

Role Overview Design and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes. Create CNC programs (ESPRIT), develop setup documentation, collaborate with Engineering and Quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • A.S. or A.A.S in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CNC programming experience (Swiss & 5-axis preferred)
  • Strong GD&T and inspection knowledge (CMM a plus)
  • Experience with CAD/CAM systems
  • Lean manufacturing & root cause analysis (8D) familiarity
  • S. work authorization required
