What is a C level assistant?

C Level Assistants, sometimes called Executive Assistants to the C-suite, are professionals who provide high-level administrative support to top executives such as CEOs, CFOs, and COOs. Their responsibilities often include managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling confidential information, preparing reports, and acting as a liaison between executives and other staff or external stakeholders. C Level Assistants play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of organizational leaders by anticipating their needs and managing various tasks on their behalf.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a C level assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a C Level Assistant, you need exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in executive support, often backed by a bachelor's degree or related administrative certifications. Mastery of office productivity software, calendar management tools, and communication platforms is typically required. Discretion, proactive problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills set top performers apart in this role. These abilities ensure that executives' workflows are streamlined, confidential matters are handled appropriately, and the organization functions efficiently at the highest level.

What are some common challenges faced by C level assistants, and how can they be managed effectively?

C Level Assistants often juggle multiple high-priority tasks, such as managing complex schedules, handling confidential information, and coordinating between various departments. One common challenge is handling last-minute changes or urgent requests, which requires strong organizational skills and adaptability. Building clear communication channels with the executive and anticipating their needs can help mitigate stress and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, developing strong relationships across the organization can streamline collaboration and problem-solving when unexpected issues arise.

Job description

C-Level Automotive Technician

Willis Auto LLC is looking for a motivated C-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

We are an independent repair facility that works on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, including passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, and medium- and heavy-duty units.
We’re looking for someone who has a solid mechanical foundation, takes pride in their work, is dependable, and wants to continue developing their skills. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level or developing technician who is comfortable with routine maintenance and light repairs and wants to gain experience with more advanced automotive and heavy-duty repair.
Heavy-duty experience is not required. As your skills and experience grow, there will be opportunities to assist with and learn repairs on larger commercial and heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services
  • Perform vehicle inspections and accurately identify maintenance and repair needs
  • Perform brake repairs and services
  • Perform basic steering and suspension repairs
  • Replace batteries, belts, hoses, filters, bulbs, and other common components
  • Perform tire rotations and basic tire service
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs appropriate to your skill level
  • Assist experienced technicians with larger and more complex repairs
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles as experience and skill level allow
  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and use scan tools as experience allows
  • Properly document inspection findings, recommended repairs, and completed work
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Properly use and care for shop tools and equipment
  • Follow established repair procedures and shop safety standards
  • Perform quality checks to help ensure repairs are completed correctly

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous automotive repair or maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, vehicle lifts, and other shop equipment
  • Ability to follow repair procedures and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic set of personal automotive tools
  • ASE certifications are a plus but are not required
  • Diesel or heavy-duty experience is a plus but is not required

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience and ability
  • Full-time employment
  • Opportunities for training and advancement
  • Hands-on experience with a wide variety of vehicles
  • Exposure to automotive, commercial, fleet, and heavy-duty repair
  • Modern diagnostic and repair equipment
  • Support and guidance from experienced technicians
  • Opportunity to learn more advanced diagnostics and repair procedures
  • A growing independent repair shop where hard work, quality, and continued improvement are recognized

Opportunity for Advancement

We’re not looking for someone who wants to stay a C-Level Technician forever. Our goal is to find someone who wants to build a career in the automotive repair industry. As you demonstrate your abilities, you’ll have opportunities to take on more advanced repairs, diagnostics, and responsibilities.

We want to help the right person progress from a C-Level Technician to a B-Level Technician and eventually an A-Level Technician.
You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond passenger vehicles by working around commercial, fleet, medium-duty, and heavy-duty equipment.

If you’re mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in doing the job correctly, we’d like to hear from you.

Apply today to join the Willis Auto LLC team.
