Job description

Equipment Operator Location: Buena Park, CA Job ID#: 72470 Duration: 3-6 months possibly longer Rate: $23.00/hr Job Summary Under minimal supervision, operates various typers of fabrication equipment independently to produce parts meeting manufacturing and quality specifications, while performing sub-assembly prior to final assembly. Primary Responsibilities Makes adjustments and sets up various types of small fabrication equipment to ensure parts are being produced in accordance with applicable drawings. May set-up and change dies as necessary.

Operates equipment to produce parts in accordance with existing manufacturing specifications. Using hand tools, gram gauges, magnifying lamps and various inspection tools, inspects parts and makes necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to print specifications. Assembles small, independent subassemblies/parts.

Maintains necessary paperwork/documentation associated with each lot. Basic Qualifications Passing a visual acuity exam is required 3 - 5 years' experience operating benchtop punch presses, welding machines, wedging machines, etc. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications and blueprints.
