What you'll be doing:
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
  • Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
  • Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

What you'll need for this position:
  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
  • GPA: 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
  • Hours: Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
  • Location: Fully in the office.
  • Employment Eligibility: This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20 to $27 per hour.
