As the Supervisor, Media Strategy are naturally curious, passionate about advertising, and energized by understanding consumer behavior. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business challenges into impactful media solutions while building strong client relationships.
You are ambitious, collaborative, and bring a challenger mindset-someone who pushes beyond conventional thinking, embraces innovation, and is committed to helping clients and teammates succeed. Ideally you have experience leading integrated media strategies for CPG brands and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
This role is based on site in Sausalito, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, while working from Home on Mondays and Fridays.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development of integrated media strategies and plans that deliver against client business objectives.
  • Serve as the day-to-day strategic lead for clients Drive day-to-day media strategy with clients, ensuring all deliverables are accurate, insightful, and on time.
  • Analyze briefs, consumer insights, category trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Present strategic recommendations, media plans, and performance insights with confidence and clarity.
  • Oversee strategic consistency, campaign execution, optimization, and reporting across all channels.
  • Manage team workload, mentor junior staff, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Partner with Account, Creative, Analytics, Investment, and Operations teams and activation partners to develop fully integrated marketing solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and industry partners.
  • Ensure planning documents, financial trackers, media authorizations, and campaign materials are maintained with accuracy.
  • Stay current on media trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of media planning, strategy, or communications experience in an agency or similar environment.
    • Client-facing experience, required
    • Integrated agency experience, preferred
  • Experience developing media strategies for CPG or consumer-focused brands.
    • Experience with new-to-market/start-up brands, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of digital and traditional media channels, including Video, Social, Search, Programmatic, Retail Media, OOH, Audio, Print, and TV.
    • Experience with both media planning and activation, required
  • Ability to turn data, research, and insights into compelling strategic recommendations.
    • Experience with research tools (ie: MRI, Kantar, MediaRadar etc.) and measurement solutions (ie: Brand Lift, Content Effectiveness, MMM, etc.), required
    • Experience with AI tools (ie: ChatGPT, Claude, Waldo), required
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • A self-starter mindset, able to take initiative on tasks without prompting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

The pay range for this role is:
88,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Sausalito)
