Job description

I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Business Representative serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams,
providing strategic and operational support to optimize client service and ensure seamless
execution of business processes. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong
understanding of client operations, capable of handling complex issues, improving processes,
and mentoring junior team members.
II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Client Relationship & Account Management
o Acts as a primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring timely
communication and issue resolution.
o Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies,
and enhanced client satisfaction.
o Assist the Business Manager in identifying opportunities to leverage company
infrastructure to meet client needs.
o Escalates critical issues and coordinates resolutions across multiple internal
departments.
o Oversees daily tactical business requirements, ensuring seamless execution of
client deliverables.
o Manages order flow, backlog, inventory levels, and forecasting with high
accuracy to support business objectives.
o Ensures client pricing models, invoicing accuracy, and contractual obligations are
met.
o Analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generates insights to drive
data-driven decision-making.
o Utilizes SAP ERP and other business intelligence tools to track and improve
operational performance.
o Develops and delivers reports and presentations for internal and external
stakeholders.
o Works closely with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure client
requirements are met.
o Leads or participates in cross-functional projects, including forecasting, new
client onboarding, and supply chain optimization.
III. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Education & Experience
o High school diploma or vocational education required; post-secondary education
preferred.
o Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience.
o Minimum 5 years of pricing and invoicing experience.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
o SAP ERP experience required.
o UPS WorldShip experience preferred.
o Background in business, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Professional demeanor and adaptability to change.
o Strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.
V.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. General climate-controlled office environment within a warehouse facility.
2. Prolonged sitting and repetitive motion due to extended computer use.
3. Occasional exposure to production, distribution area working conditions -
including noise, and dust exposure and lift truck traffic.
