As a member of the Global Enterprise Excellence team, the Business Process Improvement Manager partners with organizational stakeholders to enhance productivity, solve complex challenges and optimize processes to drive high-impact initiatives that contribute to operating income and gross margin improvements. This role works across divisions, functions and regions to streamline business processes and improve customer and employee experiences through process improvement efforts, customer journey mapping and the adoption of technology.

The Business Process Improvement Manager is responsible for leading workshops that guide cross-functional teams through process transformations while leveraging process improvement methodologies to develop innovative solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA, Maple Grove, MN OR Arden Hills, MN OR Valencia, CA office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

responsibilities will include:

Lead enterprise-wide projects to improve business outcomes, enhance productivity and leverage digital solutions to deliver measurable results; report progress to key decision-makers.

Partner with business stakeholders to execute improvement plans, including voice of customer activities, data analysis, process mapping and change management.

Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies while fostering a culture of ongoing process enhancement through best practices and tools.

Engage stakeholders to identify key improvement opportunities and establish teams to drive initiatives.

Lead workshops to develop solutions and leverage process and technology capabilities to resolve challenges and roadblocks.

Advocate for process improvements across functions and ensure alignment with organizational goals; identify opportunities to improve efficiency through intelligent automation.

Drive cross-functional collaboration to refine global best practices and document methodologies, toolkits and guidebooks.

 

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years' experience driving Lean methodologies in a business environment.

Experience managing projects with demonstrated change management and workshop facilitation skills.

Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel.

 

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree.

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial and consultative mindset.

Proven track record of partnering with executive-level stakeholders and influencing strategic initiatives.

Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical and process-driven approach.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and influence change and performance across functions.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.

Financial acumen with the ability to connect process improvements to measurable business and financial results.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
