Job description

We are seeking an experienced business analyst to work in a collaborative environment focusing on our Annuity Electronic Order Entry platforms, including Affirm, An4, and Firelight.

We support Individual Solutions as well as Operations and are looking for someone who can help achieve results while continuously improving efficiencies and processes across annuity new business workflows.

Responsibilities (includebut are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and business partners toidentifyand elicit technology needs related to annuity new business and work with internal technology teams and vendor partners toidentifysolutions.

  • Help the Product Owner document technology needs and business requirements.

  • Assist the Product Owner and team in planning work for upcoming releases, considering factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, internal and external teams, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and prepare them for development, whileidentifyingdependencies, risks, and other concerns.

  • Provide assistancethroughout each release to the development team and quality engineers, including answering questions on requirements and providing input into testing strategy.

  • Develop andmaintaintechnical documentation of system and business processes.

  • Grow andmaintainknowledge of annuity products, business processes, and supporting system applications.

  • Stay informed of trends in theannuitybusiness and financial services technology space.

  • Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors to help navigate problems, decisions, and related implications.

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker who is analytical and results driven.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence priorities and navigate differing viewpoints in a collaborative, Agile environment.

  • Working knowledge of Agile practices, including iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, velocity, and task definition.

  • Solid analytical and creative problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of experience as a product or business analyst, withdemonstrateddelivery of business value and outcomes.

  • Experience supporting annuity products and/or annuitynew business processes.

  • Familiarity with electronic order entry or e-application platforms such as Affirm, An4, or Firelight (or the ability to quickly learn new platforms).

#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.**
