Position Summary-Hybrid Role
Candidate will need flexibility to report to Plymouth office and work from home
The Sales Process Associate is an individual contributor role that provides essential support to sales and sales management teams, ensuring that data is managed accurately and efficiently. This position supports both internal staff and customers by facilitating sales activities, maintaining documentation, and prioritizing work to achieve customer satisfaction and project excellence.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Perform entry-level tasks within sales processes or sub-processes, meeting established performance metrics
Facilitate new customer set-up and gather necessary documentation (such as vendor forms, W9, certificates of insurance, etc.)
Provide entry-level support to customer sales efforts, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues
Distribute customer communications after sales and installations, and assist in resolving customer requests and problems, delivering customized responses as needed
Review, edit, organize, and manage proposal documents, specifications, and supporting materials on internal platforms
Support SAP part number processes and may assist with account mapping and order entry
Assist with account management tasks, update CRM data as directed, and generate and monitor reports
Review, submit, and track job packages; process return merchandise authorization (RMA) requests
Execute other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of applicable work experience, or Associate’s degree with demonstrated capability in comparable work
Knowledge & Experience:
Strong communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively within and across departments for alignment and information sharing
Competence in understanding and executing entry-level organizational tasks with guidance
Basic understanding of general business and sales concepts
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (such as SAP)
Basic knowledge of lean principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
