Veterinary District Sales Manager - Royal Canin

Location: Salem, OR (Salem, Woodburn, McMinnville, Newberg areas)

Field Based Role - Must live within Territory

The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI's by delivering account specific sales goals. This isaccomplishedbyidentifyingclinic opportunities andleveragingsales data. This role works cross functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation within assigned geography. This is an individual contributor role.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B

Veterinary clinic experience preferred

Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)

Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record

Overnight travelrequired, occasional weekends for conferences;approximately 20-30%+travel

Whatwould beyour key responsibilities?

Ability to translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities

Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs. Leverage this to grow clinics within assigned geography

Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography

Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff

Develops strong workingrelationshipwith key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization. Balances the needs and interests of multiple internal and external stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs)

Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy

Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments

Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance

Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expensereportsand presentations ina timelyandaccuratemanner
