Role: Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX/Chicago, IL Remote Role

Duration: 12 Months


Position Summary

seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager to lead enterprise-level data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage BI projects from planning through execution, working closely with stakeholders across business units such as operations, finance, marketing, and guest analytics. This role requires strong project management skills, BI knowledge, and experience delivering data-driven solutions in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence and Analytics projects.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Analysts.
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies using project management tools.
  • Coordinate data warehouse, reporting, and dashboard development initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational data strategy and business objectives.
  • Oversee BI reporting tools implementation such as dashboards and performance reports.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
  • Communicate project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing BI or Data Analytics projects.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience managing BI tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
    • Looker
    • MicroStrategy
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Retail, Hospitality, or Entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud platformssuch as:
    • AWS
    • Azure
    • Google Cloud Platform
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Technical Skills:
