Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Immigration Attorney for a law firm based in San Francisco, CA. This position is REMOTE, but candidates must be local to the Bay Area and have the ability to come into the office on occasion as needed.


Responsibilities:

โ€ข Handle a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions for business clients.

โ€ข Counsel employers and human resources teams on case strategy, filing timelines, eligibility considerations, and required supporting documents.

โ€ข Draft, analyze, and finalize petitions, applications, legal support letters, and related evidence with a high standard of accuracy.

โ€ข Represent organizations in business immigration matters, including compliance-related issues and interactions connected to government proceedings.

โ€ข Perform legal research and communicate with government agencies to clarify requirements and advance case progress.

โ€ข Partner with senior attorneys and colleagues on shared client matters to develop sound legal approaches and consistent service delivery.

โ€ข Guide and support legal staff in case preparation, document review, and client communication best practices.

โ€ข Contribute to internal knowledge resources, template development, website content, and continuous improvement efforts across the practice.

โ€ข Maintain quality control across active matters to promote consistency, precision, and dependable client outcomes.

  • Open to attorneys with 1-15 years of experience. Must have a minimum of one year of business immigration experience.
  • Must have experience with H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and other nonimmigrant and immigrant visa benefits applications.
  • Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
