About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Generative AI Associate Product Manager / Business Analyst to help drive the development and delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions within Commercial Banking. This hybrid role combines product management, business analysis, data analysis, and agile product ownership responsibilities to support the successful implementation of Generative AI initiatives.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Business stakeholders to define requirements, translate complex business needs into scalable solutions, and deliver impactful AI-driven products. You will play a key role in managing product execution, establishing data requirements, and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Execution
  • Partner with Product Managers to define, refine, and prioritize product roadmaps and backlogs aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate business, technical, and AI requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
  • Decompose complex features into functional and non-functional requirements for Engineering, Data Science, and Platform teams.
  • Identify and document dependencies across frontend, backend, API, data, and Generative AI components.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities to ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Validate completed solutions and provide product owner signoff for releases and launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate discussions to align teams on priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
  • Work with UX partners to design intuitive user experiences that balance usability, scalability, and business requirements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and centralized repositories of product artifacts.
Data Analysis and Integration
  • Define and document data requirements that support Generative AI use cases.
  • Evaluate and analyze data sources to ensure completeness, quality, and business relevance.
  • Create source-to-target data mappings and document integration requirements across systems.
  • Develop data integration stories, testing scenarios, and validation criteria.
  • Perform data analysis and quality assessments across structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Partner with product and technical teams to understand system integrations and data flows.
Agile Delivery and Quality Assurance
  • Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure shared understanding of user stories.
  • Participate in story estimation, sprint planning, and capacity discussions.
  • Coordinate testing efforts, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Drive defect triage, prioritization, and resolution activities.
  • Help define scalable, extensible, and high-performing technical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a related technology role.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with APIs, data integrations, system architecture concepts, and database structures.
  • 2-5 years of experience using SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience analyzing and validating data across multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, and API testing tools.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Postman, Figma, or similar product development platforms.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI products.
  • Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and Responsible AI principles.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech environments.
  • Knowledge of Teradata, MongoDB, or other enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with application architecture, cloud-based solutions, and distributed systems.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to deliver AI-powered products.
