InizioEngage is seeking a Regional Business Director to supportCristcot, an established pharmaceutical company with a proventrack recordin developing novel formulations and optimized drug-device systems, in preparing for a U.S. product launch in ulcerative colitis. This leadership role is critical in building and leading a high-performing field sales team and driving regional execution against national commercial strategy.

The Regional Business Director will hire, lead, and develop a team of Territory Business Managers (TBMs) to achieve and exceed revenue,TRx/NBRx, and market share goals. This individual will translate nationalobjectivesinto clear regional plans, ensure consistent execution, and foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and high performance.

This role will work cross-functionally with internal and client stakeholders including Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to ensure alignment and successful product adoption.

What will you be doing?

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of Territory Business Managers (TBMs), driving performance above target through structured coaching and development

  • Coach team members on consultative selling, account management, and territory planning to meet or exceed goals

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with nationalobjectives, focusing on high-value opportunities and target accounts

  • Monitor and drive performance metrics includingTRx, NRx, market share, and HCP engagement using CRM and analytics tools

  • Provideregional insights on payer dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform broader commercial strategy

  • Foster a culture of accountability, setting clear expectations and managing performance effectively

  • Adapt regional strategies based on market changes including competition, access challenges, and payer dynamics

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations

  • Support adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance field effectiveness and customer engagement

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key customers, accounts, and healthcare stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company policies

  • Manage regional budgets andallocateresources effectively to maximize return on investment

What do you need for this position?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Life Sciences, or related fieldrequired

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, including multiple product launches

  • 2-3 years of first-line leadership experience managing sales teams

  • Experience in specialty or complex, payer-driven markets (immunology preferred; gastroenterology a plus)

  • Proventrack recordof leading teams to exceed performance goals in competitive environments

  • Strong coaching, leadership, and performance management skills

  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical sales

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the region

  • Willingness to travel 50-70% within the region

The base pay range for this position is $160K - $200K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will bedeterminedby factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
