Description:Business Developer – Commercial Landscaping


We’re seeking a true 'hunter’ Business Developer who thrives on prospecting, uncovering new opportunities, and winning new business. This is not an account management role; it’s about forging new relationships, generating leads, and closing deals to drive growth. You’ll be in the field daily, actively searching for commercial property prospects, presenting customized solutions, and securing long-term landscape maintenance contracts.

What You’ll Do

· Act as a hunter by aggressively identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the commercial landscaping market

· Conduct cold calls, site visits, and attend networking events to build a pipeline of qualified leads

· Build strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers

· Develop and present custom maintenance solutions and proposals

· Collaborate with operations and estimating teams on pricing and service planning

· Track all activity in CRM software and submit weekly progress reports

· Ensure a smooth handoff to account management and field teams

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

· 3+ years of B2B sales experience (landscaping, facilities, or service industry preferred)

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills

· Comfortable working independently in the field

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Able to pass background check and drug screening

Nice-to-Have:

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment

· This is a field-based sales position with frequent outdoor site visits
