We're seeking a high-performing, self-directed Business Development leader to join the team and accelerate revenue growth. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients while driving sales across target segments, including hyperscale operators, colocation developers, commissioning contractors, and equipment rental partners.
This role combines strategic targeting with hands-on relationship-building. You'll work closely with the CEO and marketing team to convert leads, uncover new opportunities, and expand presence in key verticals.
The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-integrity, high-expectation environment and wants to play a critical role in shaping the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across assigned accounts, regions, or verticals (TBD based on candidate strengths)
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal, close, and post-sale support
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in key customer segments, including data center operators, rental companies, and engineering firms
  • Coordinate demos, lunch-and-learns, and factory visits in partnership with marketing and technical leadership
  • Accurately forecast revenue and track pipeline activity using CRM tools
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing to represent customer needs and drive long-term value creation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales, preferably in data centers, industrial equipment, or B2B hardware. Strong preference for Liquid Cooling, CDU, Load Banks
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to sell consultatively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with limited layers and lots of autonomy
  • Strong organizational and CRM skills (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Ability to travel by car and airplane

Preferred:

  • Existing relationships in the data center, rental, or mission-critical sectors
  • Experience selling engineered or compliance-driven products (e.g., ASME, UL508A, etc.)
  • Understanding of commissioning, HVAC, power systems, or liquid-cooling technologies
