Overview & Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary objective of this position is to generate premier solutions, including products and services, to meet future needs of existing and new customers in the domains of energy transition, hydrogen & ammonia economies, decarbonization initiatives such as CCS, SAF, geothermal etc. An added outlook for ideating & researching out-of-the-box non-conventional businesses / markets will be a plus.

This position is responsible for

  • Managing marketing activities in the focus areas of sustainability to promote EEE solutions

  • Generating and following market trends such as customer, competitor, industry direction and solutions

  • Identification and prioritization of customer categories

  • Specific marketing programs tailored to segments and geographies

  • Customer relationship management for the identified focus area

  • Developing and managing customer communication plans

  • Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives as deigned by global marketing manager

  • Key internal data management and analysis for reporting geographical trends across identified parameters.

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, with strong technical background related to compression solutions and other product lines, and understanding of global sustainability trends and direction

  • Minimum five years of experience in regional / global communications (at least at country level), direct sales / sales channels & marketing management

  • Demonstrated skills in preparing and presenting reports and presentations to customers & other stakeholders

  • Customer relationship building techniques based on long term vision while leveraging tactical matters

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

  • Exposure and usage of emerging new information technology channels

  • Presentation skills required to deliver proposals to varying groups of individuals.

NATURE OF THE JOB

This job requires creativity, team building, and effective cross-functional team participation. Also, the willingness and confidence to travel as required, to interact with customer contacts at all levels, and utilization of external marketing/data resources as needed.

CONTACT WITH OTHERS

  • Internally: Contact with R&D, Key Account Managers, Sales team and Managers, Other BU Marketing groups, Business Development Managers, Product Managers, Corporate Communications, Technical and Ebara groups.

  • Externally: Close Contact is required with sustainability customers & supplier team, R&D team, Supply Chain, sales personnel and representatives. Travel readiness when required (25%) in the geographical area of responsibility as necessary to conduct business, attend meetings and give presentations. Outside the geographical area as needed.

SUPERVISION

This position is an individual contributor position.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES

  • Supports promotional and marketing activities to help customers minimize their company's environmental impact. Including but not limited to generating demand for EEE product and solutions.

  • Identify new market opportunities for current and potential EEE products and solutions, develop strategies for market entry and provide "voice of customer" to internal technical teams

  • Plans, organizes, visits and periodically reviews customer and market data to develop programs and improve marketing plans to meet sustainability objectives.

  • Conducts research and studies as required to identify environmental and sustainability concerns, interests, and issues, and per management request.

  • Identifies key trade sustainability exhibitions to either attend and/or to exhibit in globally.

  • Identifies and support new product's introduction and promotion globally.

  • Supports delivery of sustainability seminars for key clients for product introduction/specification

  • Establishes and maintains close relationships with key related functions including Ebara Group.

  • Analyzes economic and sustainability trends and competition as well as sales activity within CRM and organic and reports to supervisor quarterly.

  • Plans, organizes, and directs long-range and direct marketing programs aimed at renewable energy markets, with focus on Hydrogen, Ammonia, SAF, and CCUS and or decarbonization initiatives.

  • Maintains good public relations at all times. Participates in technical, civic and community organizations.

  • Carries out any tasks as assigned by the Global Marketing Manager.
