The Role

Healthcare experience is a must for this position.

We're seeking an experienced healthcare sector Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of Foundation Health's growth. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, generate referrals, develop strategic partnerships, and introduce healthcare providers, employers, and community organizations to a new model of patient care.

Bringing deep experience in the healthcare sector, you'll represent an innovative healthcare company that is expanding beyond traditional family medicine into preventative care, concierge health, direct-to-consumer lab-based testing, mobile nursing, home care, virtual care, and AI-enabled healthcare solutions. As we grow into a multi-clinic healthcare platform across Ontario, you'll play a key role in helping shape that future.

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

The salary is $80,000 plus commission (potential to earn as much as an additional 75% in commission).

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively promote Foundation Health's services to businesses, employers, physicians, and community partners
  • Develop and manage referral relationships with family physicians, specialists, hospitals, clinics, and allied healthcare providers
  • Conduct cold outreach (calls, emails, in-person visits) to generate new partnerships and business opportunities
  • Build relationships within hospitals, healthcare networks, employers, insurers, and community organizations
  • Introduce partners to Foundation Health's expanding range of services, including preventative care, concierge medicine, direct-to-consumer diagnostic testing, mobile nursing, home care, and specialist services
  • Identify opportunities to support the launch of new clinics, services, and strategic partnerships across Ontario
  • Track outreach, pipeline, and results using a CRM
  • Represent Foundation Health at meetings, conferences, networking events, and community initiatives
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that help accelerate Foundation Health's growth into one of Ontario's leading AI-enabled healthcare platforms

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the healthcare sector
  • Deep knowledge of Ontario's healthcare landscape
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and communication skills
  • Comfort with cold calling, in-person outreach, and developing new business opportunities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and target-driven
  • Ability to travel regularly for meetings and outreach
  • Requirement: Experience selling or leading business development within the medical or healthcare field, or working directly with clinics, hospitals, or healthcare organizations
