Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Lead to drive new client acquisition and grow existing accounts across IT services — including staff augmentation, fixed-bid projects, and staffing solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in IT services sales, deep client relationships with technology-driven organizations, and a consistent track record of meeting revenue targets in a remote, client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and acquire new client accounts for IT services — staff augmentation, fixed-bid/project-based engagements, and staffing — across assigned verticals/regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers — CTOs, IT Directors, HR/Talent Acquisition leaders, and Procurement teams.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and margin targets across multiple engagement models.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — lead generation, pitching, negotiation, contract closure, and account onboarding.
  • Collaborate with delivery/recruitment teams to ensure client requirements (resource-based or project-based) are met with speed and quality.
  • Track IT industry trends, technology shifts, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SOWs, and commercial terms to prospective clients.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting via CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at IT industry events, tech meetups, and client meetings (virtual/in-person as needed).
  • Partner with leadership to define go-to-market strategies for new service lines, engagement models, or geographies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Business Development / Sales experience within IT services — staffing, staff augmentation, or fixed-bid/project delivery.
  • Strong existing network of client contacts in IT services (CTOs, IT hiring managers, procurement teams).
  • Proven track record of closing mid-to-large IT service contracts and meeting sales targets across different engagement models.
  • Solid understanding of IT engagement models — staff augmentation, fixed-bid/project-based delivery, C2H, C2C, permanent placement, RPO, and MSP/VMS programs.
  • Familiarity with IT skill categories and hiring/technology trends (cloud, DevOps, data engineering, full-stack, cybersecurity, etc.) — enough to speak credibly with technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup with strong self-discipline and time management.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
Good to Have
  • Experience selling IT services (staffing, staff augmentation, or fixed-bid projects) to US/UK/Middle East markets.
  • Existing relationships with VMS/MSP programs.
  • Background in a fast-scaling IT services/consulting firm.
