Job Summary:
Visual Comfort & Co. is the premier resource for decorative and architectural lighting, and they are seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to develop and maintain comprehensive reports and analyses. The role involves optimizing marketing investments and website conversion through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Own the development and delivery of executive-level performance dashboards and reporting frameworks, providing meaningful context and business implications alongside data; proactively identify trends, diagnose root causes, and drive strategic recommendations and action plans with minimal guidance.
• Lead and influence cross-functional collaboration with UX, development, and ecommerce teams to define, prioritize, and implement enhancements that improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall site performance; make informed trade-off decisions and clear blockers proactively.
• Design, run, and evaluate complex A/B and multivariate testing initiatives end-to-end, including hypothesis development, statistical validation, and translating outcomes into long-term strategy; establish testing governance and own the roadmap for experimentation.
• Conduct advanced analyses of customer behavior, segmentation, and purchasing patterns to generate actionable insights that directly shape marketing strategies, promotional planning, and ecommerce growth initiatives; recommend and implement changes in partnership with stakeholders.
• Champion continuous optimization by identifying systemic performance gaps, recommending innovative solutions, and ensuring accountability for execution across teams; set KPIs and track progress against them.
• Exercise independent judgment to assess competing priorities, allocate resources effectively, and make sound, strategic decisions aligned with business objectives; escalate only when cross-functional alignment or resourcing constraints require it.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, influencing decisions through clear, data-driven storytelling and owning follow-through on outcomes.
• Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, business analytics) required
• 7+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role, preferably within marketing, ecommerce, or web analytics
• Proficiency in SQL (writing and running queries) is required, along with large-scale data analysis and advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, VBA)
• Extensive experience leveraging web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to drive data-driven strategies, optimize digital performance, and inform executive decision-making. Skilled in advanced configurations, custom reporting, and attribution modeling
• Proficient in business intelligence and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), with a proven track record of developing interactive dashboards, complex data models, and predictive analytics to support organizational goals
• A/B testing experience is required, with familiarity in platforms such as Google Optimize, Fullstory, Adobe Analytics, or Bloomreach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to derive actionable insights from data
• Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders at various levels
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently and collaboratively
