Job Description

Project Manager/Business Analyst Details: The PM/BA role is multifaceted. As a PM, this role entails the overall management of a project throughout its lifecycle. The PM is responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing the project, for identifying key resources and providing the direction required to meet project objectives. The Project Manager provides leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria. They also ensure adherence to project management methodology practices, provide team coaching, evaluate the performance of team members and reinforce the enterprise knowledge management through the collection and communication of lessons learned. As a BA, this role entails any number of tasks including and not limited to: Task Management Helping clients assign and follow through on assigned tasks Process Improvement Process discovery and mapping Process improvement Requirements Gathering and Review Interview clients Document and confirm requirements Relay requirements to developers Assist in developing functional test criteria

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: Delivery Participate in the project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, Closing) Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables. Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives, and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members. Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance. Analyze risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action. Escalate issues early about the project to delivery management. Determine what constitutes successful closure for all parties. Gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained. Proactively manage project stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure customer reference and success story Coaching and Mentoring Position project reviews with customers and effectively manage their deployment. Mentor project teams to ensure implementation of enterprise project management methodology, standards and processes. Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team; review quality of work and manage integration of team members' work; provide performance input to project team members' functional management. Knowledge Management Maintain project documentation and updates to relevant knowledge management bases; Analyses lessons learned and share with the organization's project management community.
