The Delilah Bus Person is responsible for supporting an elevated front-of-house experience by maintaining exceptional cleanliness, organization, and service readiness throughout the restaurant. This role plays a critical part in delivering the sophisticated, high-energy dining environment that defines Delilah by ensuring tables are meticulously maintained, service stations are fully stocked, and service teams are supported in real time.

The Bus Person must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to luxury hospitality standards. This position contributes directly to creating memorable guest experiences through seamless service execution, polished presentation, and teamwork consistent with Wynn Las Vegas and Forbes Five-Star service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  Dining Room Excellence

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly while maintaining precise presentation standards.
  • Ensure table settings meet established fine dining specifications, including proper placement of china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
  • Maintain awareness of table status and readiness to support efficient guest seating and service flow.
  • Perform continuous table maintenance utilizing a silent and unobtrusive service approach.
  • Assist with rearranging tables and chairs based on operational needs and floor plans.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all guest-facing areas.

  Guest Experience Support

  • Greet and acknowledge guests in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Support Servers and Server Assistants in delivering seamless and personalized service.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain a polished, attentive presence while preserving Delilah's sophisticated dining atmosphere.

  Service Support & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Food Runners, Bartenders, Culinary Team Members, and Management regarding guest and operational needs.
  • Support service execution by assisting with table maintenance, water service, and other service-related duties as assigned.
  • Respond quickly to requests from service staff to maintain pacing and service standards.

  Polish, Presentation & Detail

  • Ensure all dining room surfaces, service stations, and work areas meet Wynn presentation expectations.
  • Maintain aesthetic consistency and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Assist with stocking, folding, organizing, and replenishing service supplies.

  Operational Readiness

  • Complete opening, running side work, and closing duties with accuracy and consistency.
  • Stock and replenish service stations with necessary supplies including glassware, china, silverware, linen, coffee service items, and condiments.
  • Assist in maintaining coffee and tea stations, including replenishing supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of service stations, storage areas, and back-of-house support areas.
  • Ensure all health, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met.

Compliance & Brand Standards

  • Adhere to all Wynn Las Vegas grooming, appearance, and uniform standards.
  • Execute responsibilities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and luxury service standards.
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Wynn Las Vegas and Delilah by consistently demonstrating professionalism and hospitality.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bus Person, Food Runner, or similar front-of-house support role in a fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
  • Experience in an upscale nightlife, lounge, or luxury dining venue is highly desirable.
  • Fluent spoken and written English required; ability to communicate professionally with guests, management, and team members. Second language is a plus.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

  Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of luxury dining and fine dining service standards.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of dining room flow and anticipate operational needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverages, coffee service, tea service, and basic food presentation preferred.

  Licenses & Certifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards and licenses.
