Job description

We are seeking an Operations Superintendent for our client, a rapidly growing industrial company supporting critical industries including energy, transportation, aerospace, and next-generation technologies.


This leadership role is responsible for overseeing complex industrial processing operations, driving operational performance, developing frontline teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple processing and production areas
  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors, operators, and support personnel
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to improve reliability and production performance
  • Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence
  • Support startup, commissioning, and expansion activities for new processes and equipment
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, standards, and best practices
  • Assist with workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession development
  • Maintain a visible presence in the operation and provide leadership during production challenges


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial operations, or other complex production environments
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a supervisory, operations management, or superintendent role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and drive accountability
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in highly regulated, safety-focused industrial environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field preferred
  • Experience supporting plant expansions, new facility startups, or major capital projects is a plus
