School Bus Driver – Help Wanted

Rensselaer Central Schools Corporation is seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals to join our transportation team as School Bus Drivers. School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events while maintaining a positive and professional environment.


Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a school bus following all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Transport students to and from assigned routes and activities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections
  • Maintain order and ensure student safety while on the bus
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Report delays, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate route and attendance records as required

Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (training available)
