Overview

Marketing Platform Specialist (internally known as eCommerce Manager - Salesforce Commerce Cloud) needs to be a results-driven eCommerce and Campaigns Manager with demonstrated experience across SaaS platforms including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and Salesforce CRM. Lead the building and management of digital campaigns, automations, and website enhancements that drive interest, enable conversion, and strengthen customer relationships.

Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, IT, and Commercial teams. Focus will be improving user-facing site features, supporting campaign execution, and leveraging automations to optimize buyer journeys. Manage the day-to-day presentation of products, images, and descriptions within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ensuring our site reflects current priorities and enhances customer experience.

Responsibilities

Campaign & Automation Management

  • Build, launch, and optimize digital marketing campaigns using Account Engagement and Salesforce CRM data.
  • Build and manage campaign automations to target, nurture, and convert customers during all stages of the buyer journey.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager on campaign strategy and execution.

eCommerce Site Management

  • Maintain product listings, images, descriptions, and onsite content in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Make ongoing updates to site structure and imagery based on product launches, seasonal changes, and marketing priorities.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to integrate SEO, paid media, and social campaigns to maximize digital sales and on-site engagement.

Digital Experience & Customer Engagement

  • Ensure the eCommerce platform provides a seamless, intuitive experience for shoppers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and site analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on key metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion) for campaigns and site activity.
  • Leverage data insights to iterate marketing tactics and enhance digital touchpoints.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary regional point-of-contact for eCommerce, supporting commercial, marketing, and product teams.
  • Coordinate with IT and Marketing for integrations and process enhancements.

Process & Innovation

  • Bring new ideas to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay current on industry trends and Salesforce platform updates.

Required Skills/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Account Engagement; proven ability to manage campaigns, automations, and eCommerce sites.
  • Experience executing eCommerce and digital marketing strategies to generate leads, revenue, and engagement.
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable collecting and acting on marketing and eCommerce data.
  • Strong project management skills: able to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience with digital marketing technologies (SEO, SEM, social media, mobile).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and SAP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and SAP is a plus.
