Location: Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.
Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless accommodation is granted as required by law.
The Broker Service Representative is responsible for providing operational support and expertise to broker contacts (Broker, General Agency, etc.), Account Management and Group Admins as needed. Occasional member support may be required.
How you will make an impact:
  • Provides timely and effective responses to service-related concerns and issues. Talks with brokers, groups or account management by phone, email, and/or chat to ensure the best service possible.
  • Answers inquiries regarding health plan or service issues, investigates, and resolves errors.
  • Coordinates complaint resolution concerning billing, enrollment, claims, benefits, pharmacy, authorizations, coordination of benefits or services rendered with appropriate department(s).
  • Assists with Portal and client Mobile applications and other online tools. Completes simple transactions and coordinates service needs with other departments as required to ensure service and satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years claims/customer service experience or 1 year of company experience in an automated customer service, claims, enrollment & billing environment; or any combination of education and related experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Associate degree preferred.
