Job description

Pay: $60 - $70k Annually

Operations Systems Associate

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Create/Edit master records within in the holdings and transactions data repository, including, but not limited to:
    • Legal entity information
    • Bank and brokerage account information
    • Security details, including modelling future scheduled cashflows for fixed-income securities
  • Enter pricing and published rate information in the holdings and transactions data repository
  • Review transaction data using support provided from the Finance Team
  • Save supporting documentation to online document repository
  • Assist in the documentation of design requirements for new system features and enhancements requested by the business users
  • Perform testing of system changes that occur within the monthly release cycle
  • Provide support to the Accounting and Finance Teams to resolve identified reconciling items
  • Assist senior Operations Systems Team members with ad hoc projects upon request

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1-3 years of operations experience in Financial Services, experience with calculating accrued interest for fixed-income securities or working within a system is a plus
  • 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Must be a fast learner, be extremely detail oriented and thorough and possess strong analytical skills. Must have a hands-on attitude, and be willing to roll-up their sleeves to do anything and everything needed to support the efforts of the team
  • Must work well in a team environment and independently
  • Must have desire to continually improve processes and procedures to achieve greater accuracy and/or efficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skill
