Responsibilities
We currently have a great opportunity available for a Business Relationship Manager. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the strategic interface between business functions and One IT, ensuring alignment between business priorities and enterprise technology capabilities. The BRM partners with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technology initiatives and communicate technical opportunities, constraints, and risks to leadership.
Acting as a trusted advisor, the BRM facilitates informed decision-making, supports prioritization of technology investments, and helps ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. The role requires strong business acumen, technical fluency, and the ability to operate effectively across complex, cross-functional environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Relationship Manager connects business priorities with enterprise technology capabilities to ensure initiatives are clearly defined, appropriately prioritized, and delivered in alignment with organizational objectives.
1. Enterprise Strategic Alignment
Partner with business leaders to align technology capabilities and investments with organizational priorities and translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and roadmaps.
2. Business Relationship Leadership (One IT)
Serve as the primary One IT relationship lead for assigned business functions, building trusted partnerships and actively participating in technology planning and prioritization discussions.
3. Business-Technical Translation
Analyze business needs, document requirements, and translate them into actionable technology direction while supporting initiatives from concept through implementation and ensuring shared understanding of constraints, risks, and opportunities.
4. Demand Intake & Initiative Evaluation
Facilitate structured intake of requests and evaluate scope, impact, and alignment with business priorities, enterprise standards, and delivery capacity to drive clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
5. Solution Effectiveness & Stakeholder Health Checks
Conduct post-implementation health checks with stakeholders to assess solution effectiveness, confirm alignment with intended outcomes, and identify improvement or adoption opportunities.
6. Governance Collaboration & Risk Awareness
Work with governance functions to support review processes, ensure initiatives align with enterprise standards and risk management practices, and escalate material risks when appropriate.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination & Continuous Improvement
Identify systemic issues, integration impacts, and process gaps while driving improvements that strengthen collaboration and alignment between business and technology teams.
8. Other Duties as Assigned
Perform additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as required to support evolving organizational priorities.
Travel: 10%
The salary range for this role is $150K. - $180K. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administrator or related field required. 7+ years progressive experience in IT-Business alignment, enterprise applications, healthcare technology, or regulated industry environments required.
  • BRMP (Business Relationship Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Experience working with Enterprise ERP (SAP), HCM (SuccessFactors), Service Management tools, and portfolio management platforms a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong written communication skills, including development of executive-level presentations, summaries, and documentation.
  • Experience with service management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with business and technical stakeholders and drive aligned decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess complex business needs and shape technology initiatives aligned to organizational strategy.
  • Skilled in facilitating discussions, navigating ambiguity, and driving outcomes across business and technical groups.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
