Breakfast Cook

Embassy Suites is currently seeking a dynamic Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. Compensation is based on experience. Company benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts, and much more. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests by preparing delicious and visually appealing breakfast dishes, with a focus on omelets and other breakfast specialties. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Essential Job Function

  • Prepare a variety of breakfast items, with a focus on omelets, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with stocking and replenishing breakfast buffet items as needed.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and guidelines for food preparation, handling, and storage.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service while interacting with guests in the breakfast dining area.

Experience/Education

Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting preferred. Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and familiarity with omelet station operations. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
