Job description

About SimpliSafe
We're a high-tech home security company that's passionate about protecting the life you've built and our mission of keeping Every Home Secure. And we've created a culture here that cares just as deeply about the career you're building. Ours is a no ego culture of collaboration and innovation where those seeking their next challenge can find big opportunities and make a huge impact on the lives of all those who we protect. We don't just want you to work here. We want you to grow and thrive here.
We're embracing a hybrid work model that enables our teams to split their time between office and home. Hybrid for us means we expect our teams to come together in our state-of-the-art office on two core days, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday - working together in person and choosing where they work for the remainder of the week. We all benefit from flexibility and get to use the best of both worlds to get our work done.
Why are we hiring?
Well, we're growing and thriving. So, we need smart, talented, and humble people who share our values to join us as we disrupt the home security space and relentlessly pursue our mission of keeping Every Home Secure.
The Role
The Brand Activation & Operations Manager supports SimpliSafe's Brand team in turning brand strategy into action across the organization. You'll help manage the Master Brief process, translate brand vision into the toolkits and messaging guides that keep every channel consistent, and support the operational backbone, agency management, brand review, and creative guardrails that allows the broader team to move faster without losing brand integrity. This is a newly created role. It brings dedicated execution capacity to the Brand team as we develop and scale a refreshed positioning, elevating the Brand team's ability to drive greater consistency across the customer journey.
Brand Activation & Enablement:
  • Translates brand strategy into master briefs, messaging frameworks, and channel-ready toolkits for consistent execution.
  • Partners cross-functionally to activate brand strategy across the customer journey.
  • Owns development and governance of brand resources: messaging guides, master creative briefs, and brand standards.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve brand activation, driving consistency and adoption.
  • Partners with Integrated Marketing to analyze creative performance and recommend optimizations.
Brand Operations & Governance:
  • Guides the brand review process, ensuring consumer-facing work aligns with brand positioning and guardrails.
  • Manages the campaign calendar and milestones, serving as a point of contact between Brand, Creative, and Integrated Marketing.
  • Improves operational processes that streamline collaboration, approvals, and execution across teams and agencies.
  • Monitors adherence to brand standards and identifies ways to strengthen consistency.
  • Stewards the brand's centralized resource library, keeping assets current and accessible.
Agency & Program Management
  • Leads day-to-day internal/external agency operations: planning, timelines, scopes, budgets, and feedback.
  • Coordinates meetings and milestone tracking to keep projects on time and on strategy.
  • Supports campaign activation with the tools, assets, and guidance teams need to execute.
  • Tracks operational performance and recommends process improvements.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Serves as a key connector between Brand, Creative, and Integrated Marketing.
  • Builds working relationships with Channel teams to ensure brand strategy carries through consistently into channel-level execution.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, brand operations, or a similar cross-functional marketing role.
  • Experience supporting internal and external agency relationships: building holistic timelines, budget management, and feedback loops.
  • Strong process orientation; comfortable supporting a structured framework (like a Master Brief or brand review process) and helping keep multiple stakeholders aligned to it.
  • Ability to help translate high-level brand strategy into practical toolkits and guides that other teams can actually use.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication; you'll be a trusted connector between Brand, Creative, Integrated Marketing and Channel teams

What Values You'll Share
  • Customer Obsessed - Building deep empathy for our customers, putting them at the core of our work, and developing strong, long-term relationships with them.
  • Aim High - Always challenging ourselves and others to raise the bar.
  • No Ego - Maintaining a "no job too small" attitude, and an open, inclusive and humble style.
  • One Team - Taking a highly collaborative approach to achieving success.
  • Lift As We Climb - Investing in developing others and helping others around us succeed.
  • Lean & Nimble - Working with agility and efficiency to experiment in an often ambiguous environment.

What We Offer
  • A mission- and values-driven culture and a safe, inclusive environment where you can build, grow and thrive
  • A comprehensive total rewards package that supports your wellness and provides security for SimpliSafers and their families (For more information on our total rewards please click here)
  • Free SimpliSafe system and professional monitoring for your home.
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that bring people together, give opportunities to network, mentor and develop, and advocate for change.
