This role will report ON-SITE in our Los Angeles Office 5 days a week.
The Role
We have an exciting new opening for a Brand Marketing Manager within the Brand Team at Moonbug, supporting our ultimate preschool powerhouse, CoComelon! As the undisputed #1 kids show on Netflix and the most-viewed franchise on YouTube globally, CoComelon is rapidly expanding from its flagship animated nursery rhyme roots into a massive multi-format universe. In this role, you will steer a global pop-culture phenomenon that now encompasses the hit Netflix original CoComelon Lane, our groundbreaking new live-action series The Melon Patch, the blockbuster CoComelon Playdates partnership with Sanrio, and an highly anticipated upcoming theatrical feature film. If you are a passionate marketer, ready to drive a world-class entertainment ecosystem across streaming, live-action, and the global big screen, we want you on our team.
As a Brand Marketing Manager for Cocomelon at Moonbug Entertainment, you will be responsible for assisting the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and consumer loyalty for the Cocomelon brand. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and a strong market presence. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for children's entertainment will contribute to the growth and success of the Cocomelon brand.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies and campaigns for CoComelon, aligning with overall brand objectives and business goals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify target audience demographics, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling and engaging marketing assets, including digital content, videos, social media campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Implement and oversee marketing initiatives across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, PR, and events.
  • Collaborate with licensing and merchandising teams to develop and execute brand extension strategies, ensuring brand consistency across product lines.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, leveraging data and analytics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to enhance brand positioning and market presence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives and secure strategic partnerships.

Requirements
  • You have 3+ years' experience in a marketing role or brand strategy role with a strong focus on digital marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in brand marketing, preferably within the children's entertainment or relevant kids' IP or brand.
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior and experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively.
