Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.

Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Assistant Manager will support the Marketing team with a primary focus on Fontainebleau Miami Beach's digital ecosystem, serving as a key connector between the website, social media, and broader brand marketing initiatives.  This role will manage day-to-day website content and social media execution, ensuring the brand is consistently represented across all digital touchpoints while supporting key business priorities across rooms, dining, spa, entertainment, wellness and resort experiences.  This position will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Social Media, and agency partners to optimize content, strengthen the digital guest journey and identify opportunities to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, culturally aware, with strong attention to detail and a passion for translating an iconic brand identity into compelling digital experiences for guests and locals. 

CROSS FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with accounting daily to set up new vendors.
  • Manage the process of following up with accounting and vendors to ensure timely payments are scheduled.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and detail-oriented skills.
  • Maintain professional communication between internal departments and external vendors.
  • Help develop special events and offers in key periods to drive business
  • Be a trend tracker and complete competitive deep dives to drive business
  • Maintain log/calendars of events, mailings, emails, web promotions, seasonal, creative, and other programs related to assigned departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

DIGITAL MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-date website content updates, ensuring offers, experiences, dining, spa entertainment and resort programming remains current, accurate and on-brand
  • Maintain the content calendar both on the website and on property. 
  • Coordinate updates across Brand Marketing, Revenue, F&B, Spa, Entertainment, and Retail Teams
  • Support ongoing website merchandising ensuring experiences are strategically placed throughout the guest journey
  • Assist the Director of Brand Marketing and agency partners to continually improve UX, navigation and conversion across the website
  • Support development and optimization of landing pages for campaigns, seasonal moments, partnerships, packages and property activations
  • Conduct competitive and internal website audits to identify outdated content and opportunities of optimization to improve the guest experience
  • Assist the Director of Brand Marketing in building LTV through first-party data capture and CRM journeys, including identifying opportunities for email acquisition

SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support development of channel specific social strategies across Instagram, TikTok., Facebook and emerging platforms
  • Identify cultural moments, trends and real-time opportunities
  • Track social performance against defined KPIs and provide monthly insights and recommendations
  • Be the bridge and partner with Brand Marketing to connect social content to website traffic and bookings
  • Maintaining content calendars and scheduling posts across our social platforms
  • Coordinating captions, approvals, tags, links, and publishing details
  • Supporting photo and video shoots, including briefs, shot lists, logistics, and on-site production along with editor and influencer reservations
  • Organizing content assets and tracking usage rights
  • Managing approved creator partnership logistics, agreements, deliverables, and reporting
  • Monitoring comments, messages, tags, mentions, and UGC
  • Coordinating social needs and asset requests across internal departments
  • Pulling performance metrics and maintaining reports, trackers, invoices, and vendor documentation
  • Supporting real-time social coverage for property events and activations
  • Organize influencer and editor gifting and amenities.
Qualifications

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates or bachelor's in marketing or communications preferred
  • Minimum 2 years in the marketing industry with experience in ecommerce and/or social media
  • Passion for the hospitality industry or related industry
