Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Director of Sales will lead global wholesale revenue growth for Eastside Golf, Game 7 and Contenders brands. This role is first and foremost accountable for the global commercial strategy and expansion of Eastside Golf — driving distribution growth, deepening strategic retail partnerships, and helping scale the brand globally while protecting its cultural relevance and premium positioning.

The Director will oversee New York showroom operations and lead a regional sales organization, including Account Executives, Independent Commissioned Sales, and Wholesale Customer Service, while operating within a hybrid sales model that leverages both internal teams and external agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Mandate: Eastside Golf – Global Commercial Leadership

  • Own and execute the global wholesale growth strategy for Eastside Golf across North America and international markets (Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong)
  • Drive strategic distribution expansion while maintaining disciplined brand positioning and long-term equity
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with key global retailers / distributors and strategic accounts
  • Serve as the commercial lead for Eastside Golf, partnering with Brand Leadership on distribution strategy, market expansion, account prioritization, and channel segmentation
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, and Operations to align assortments, storytelling, pricing architecture, inventory flow, and go-to-market strategy
  • Own revenue targets, margin performance, account productivity, and profitability
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities, whitespace, and risk

Secondary Mandate: Game 7 and Contenders

  • Expand and strengthen relationships across specialty, premium, department store, and culturally relevant retail accounts
  • Develop and execute brand-appropriate distribution strategies Contenders, and Game 7
  • Oversee showroom operations, seasonal market execution, and customer experience standards
  • Identify new market opportunities, strategic collaborations, and regional growth initiatives across the portfolio

Cross Collaborative Leadership

  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Licensing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure strong execution across brands
  • Lead seasonal sell-in strategy, market appointments, and key account presentations
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, licensing requirements, pricing architecture, and distribution guidelines
  • Contribute to broader divisional growth initiatives and cross-brand commercial opportunities
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8-10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within sportswear, fashion, streetwear, lifestyle, or consumer brands
  • Proven track record scaling wholesale businesses nationally and internationally
  • Strong understanding of brand building through disciplined distribution and account segmentation
  • Deep relationships across West Coast retail, specialty, and premium wholesale channels
  • Experience managing hybrid sales organizations (internal teams + external agencies)
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, and scale high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue growth, margin performance, and account profitability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
