The Branch Growth Manager manages the overall productivity of the Branch by improving the office's retention of existing financial professionals, recruiting new financial professionals, and growing revenue from their personal books of business. This role works with Financial Professionals on personal business practice growth from tool utilization to working with different product offerings that best fit client needs based on a Financial Review. The Branch Growth Manager position maintains a personal book of business to preserve their personal and coaching skills along with knowledge of all products offered by the company to help branch Financial Professionals in their personal practice growth.
In addition to being the Branch Manager to the Branch Growth Specialist (Assistant Manager, where applicable) and Branch Service Engagement Specialist (where applicable), all Financial Professionals and Sales Assistants in the Branch Office, the Branch Manager position requires the need to exercise significant discretion and independent judgment by formulating and implementing management policies and operating practices in the Branch Office. This role is the direct report for Sales Assistants in the branch and will conduct ongoing reviews with the Sales Assistants and Financial Professionals to ensure partnerships are working well. This role also helps all Financial Professionals with their Business Planning annually with monthly and quarterly reviews.

What you will do:
• Work alongside of the Branch Growth Specialist (Assistant Manager) to create an annual business plan at the Branch Level, Personal Level while working with Financial Professionals on building and monitoring achievement of plan goals through provided reports and data.
• Responsible for Recruiting Experienced Financial Professionals with a minimum of 25 prospect targets per week, Retaining Existing Financial Professionals, Driving Branch/Financial Professional Revenue, along with filling Sales Assistant roles where needed.
• Maintain a Compliant Branch following all Cetera Compliance Guidelines.
• Manage Recruiting, offers, transition, onboarding, non-solicitation agreements and commitments as set forth by CFG legal.
• Review Career Pathing, Team Building, Succession Planning and Talent Management opportunities.
• Lead Corporate Initiatives.
• Conduct Weekly Branch Sales Meetings outlining Goal Expectations, status on mtd/qtd/ytd targets and discuss any hurdles, Recognition, Branch Calendar review, etc.
• Reviewing Team/Ensemble/Partnership needs of practices within a branch based on need.
• Entering all coaching and contacts for any branch engagement in sales force.
• Recruiting Activity each week includes 25contacts through calling efforts and in person or virtual visits while logging all activity in sales force.
• This role is a Producing position that allows for remaining Active in the Business to aid in coaching and leading by Influence as a Mentor to Financial Professionals at all levels.
• Coach and mentor new and existing financial professionals at all production levels to help them achieve success within their practice management and overall results as they grow their book of business through client reviews. Provide in-office training; joint appointments, joint calling efforts, role-playing and other hands-on coaching activities.
• Managing the Branch Intern Program and potential Career Pathing Program alongside of the Branch Growth Specialist (Assistant Manager) where applicable.
• Conduct One on One sessions with New Financial Professionals with weekly follow up sessions.
• Partner with the Training Department to set up needs-based trainings based on need levels for Financial Professionals in the Branch.
• Oversee Branch Growth and Profitability alongside of the Branch Growth Specialist to ensure year over year branch revenue growth.
• Coach Financial Professionals (Tier 1 & Tier 2) on adoption of Cetera assets (RightBridge, Pentameter, Marketing Central, Leading Response, etc.)
• Ensure that financial professional appointments with clients are properly prepped, supervised, documented, and debriefed in accordance with company established training, compliance, suitability guidelines and expectations.
• Assist in increasing sales volume, number of clients, and amount of AUA & AUM within the office through working existing books of business to deepen relationships, client segmentation and service level agreements through Financial Reviews, Calling Efforts, Campaigns and Marketing efforts.
• Assist financial professionals with goal setting of revenue production, number of clients and prospect activities and events through clear communication and expectation standards to achieve or exceed individual and office sales goals. Address performance deficiencies and coach for improvement.
• Coordinate Wholesaling partnership opportunities for product enhancement strategies.
• Be accessible to all Financial Professionals (Tier 1, 2 & 3) as a resource to help determine product offerings, recommendations based on client needs, marketing ideas, and overall growth guidance.
• Position involves local travel to appointments and meetings and out-of-state travel for company meetings and conferences.
What you will have:
• Series 7, 63/65 or 66, 24, and Life, Accident, Health and Variable Contracts Insurance License
• 5 years of Sales experience in the financial services industry with proven success
• Knowledge of advanced sales concepts in the financial services industry
• Ability to hire, train and develop successful financial professionals as well as build and manage strong relationships.
• Skills in coaching and developing both experienced and newer financial professionals.
• Strong time management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to appointments and meetings.
• Recruiting Financial Professional Experience at all levels
What is nice to have:
• 3 years financial services sales management experience preferred.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $100,000, plus competitive incentive compensation package. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
