Job Overview
TheBranchManagerdrivesexcellence andstandardizationinbranch operations,maintainsrelationships with currentcustomersand fostersnew businessopportunitiesand serves as the primary leader of branch personnel. TheBranch Managerwill be an integral partof the branch's success in sales, operations, inventory management,safetyand culture.A successful Branch Manager has excellent communication, criticalthinkingand customer service skills.
This position is around $80,000 annually + $5,000 in commission.

  • Branch Operations:Oversees branch operations by enforcing SOPs, improving efficiency, addressing risks, and collaborating cross-functionally to support performance and customer satisfaction.
  • SafetyandCompliance:Leadsbranchsafetyeffortsbycoordinatingprograms,conductinginspections,ensuringcommunicationofsafetypractices,andreportingincidentsinalignmentwithcompanystandards.
  • Inventory Management:Manages inventory processes in partnership with corporate teams, executes cycle counts and annual inventory, andoptimizesERP systemutilization.
  • SalesOperations:Developsandmonitorssalesplansandbudgets,staysinformedonmarkettrends,andsupportscustomeracquisition,retention,andissueresolution.
  • ProductKnowledge:Maintainsandsharesexpertiseinproducts,applications,andmarkettrendsto supportteamdevelopmentandoperationaleffectiveness.
  • ManagementandTeamDevelopment:Leadsteamperformanceandengagementbysettinggoals,managingemployeerelationsandlifecycleactivities,supportingdevelopmentandsuccessionplanning,andfosteringacollaborative,high-performingenvironment.
Competenciesand Qualifications
  • Associate's orBachelor'sdegreeinoperations, business or inventory control,OR5-7years ofoperationsexperience.
  • Previousleadership experience is preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of heavy-dutytruck andtrailer equipment and industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuiteproductswithabilityto conduct database tasks in Excel.
  • Experience withanenterpriseresource planning (ERP)system preferred.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding inventory control KPIs.
  • Previoussuccessin continuous process improvement.
  • Excellentverbal and writtencommunicationskills.
  • Ability to providepersonableand professional customer service.
  • Strong analytical,criticalthinkingand time management skills.
  • Strongactive listeningand strategic influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationshipswith all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to stay adaptable to changing environments and tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/carry100 lbs.on deliveries.
  • Travel required:50-70%
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as driving on the road.
