This is a remote position with support from an outpatient office located in Brookhaven, NY. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clientsโ€™ mental health challenges, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide various therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for clients in acute mental health distress, ensuring safety and a pathway to recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and secure client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate and enhance the quality of care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources available to assist in their journey towards recovery.
  • Commit to continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer collaboration to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications
