Position Description
Braemar Field is currently seeking applications for the position of Guest Services I. This position is responsible for providing a welcoming environment and excellent customer service to all patrons and acts as the first point of contact. Responsibilities include greeting all guests and accepting payments, making sure users adhere to the facility schedule, routine cleaning and operation of the Braemar Field in Edina, MN.
Current Positions Available:
  • Braemar Field - Guest Services I - Seasonal

Essential Functions
  • Greet guest in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide customer service over the phone.
  • Accept payment for those purchasing daily use passes, concessions, etc.
  • Advise customers of the appropriate procedures to reserve facility time and respond to questions regarding facility availability.
  • Check people/teams in for reserved time and direct to appropriate facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning work as necessary.
  • Ensure all rules are being followed by guests.
  • Keep the lobby areas clean at all times.
  • Perform semi-skilled custodial work including sweeping, mopping, maintaining supplies in restrooms, general cleaning of restrooms and other related facilities and equipment.
  • Remove snow from front entry-way sidewalk.
  • Adhere to and promote safety rules and regulations.
  • Alert appropriate public safety personnel in the event of a medical emergency, unruly behavior, domestic disturbance or fire and document incidents. Provide basic first aid assistance.
  • Monitor building equipment including lighting, heating and air system and alert appropriate personnel in the event of a system failure.
  • Work cooperatively with other division and departments.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and/or custodial experience preferred.

Supplemental Information
This is a part-time position that will work up to 25 hours per week.
Working Conditions: The position is performed primarily indoors within temperature-controlled environment.
