Role Purpose

The Sourcing team at Chain IQ delivers strategic sourcing solutions across indirect spend categories for global clients. This role is a senior, client-facing sourcing position focused on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services within the banking and financial services sector. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading complex sourcing initiatives from strategy development through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution. The role requires strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management capabilities within regulated environments. The individual will provide category expertise across multiple client accounts and global sourcing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic sourcing partner to senior client stakeholders across banking and financial services organizations.
  • Lead end-to-end BPO sourcing initiatives, including category strategy development, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and sourcing execution.
  • Design and manage RFI, RFP, and supplier selection processes for complex outsourcing requirements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and support contract development, including outsourcing-specific terms and conditions.
  • Manage complex sourcing projects and deliver value through cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, risk, and business stakeholders throughout sourcing activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key BPO suppliers and monitor relevant market developments and industry trends.
  • Deliver sourcing objectives, performance metrics, and client commitments within agreed timelines.
  • Support and mentor colleagues on complex sourcing initiatives and category-specific activities.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience sourcing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services and leading sourcing initiatives end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, multi-country sourcing events including supplier negotiations and contract execution.
  • Strong commercial and contractual expertise within outsourcing and business services categories.
  • Experience supporting sourcing initiatives in regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services.
  • Knowledge of outsourcing governance, third-party risk management, operational resilience, and supplier risk frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required. Relevant qualifications in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, finance, business, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Experience using sourcing, procurement, and contract management tools and systems.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills required.
  • Experience supporting global sourcing programs and working with international stakeholders across multiple regions preferred.

The salary range for New York City and Chicago metro area is $120,000 to $170,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, skills, location and applicable employment laws.
