Job description

BPM LEAD is an immersive leadership development program for accounting students. Our program is unique due to its intimate structure and high-volume of activity.

BPM LEAD educates students on the public accounting experience and the importance of creating a personal definition for a leader. Activities, projects, and presentations will incorporate technical skills, soft skills, and professional etiquette providing BPM LEAD students with an array of noteworthy experiences.

BPM LEAD is a one-day event designed to provide 1st and 2nd year accounting students with the opportunity to discover various career paths within public accounting. This is a terrific way to develop and enhance your knowledge of the Accounting field and connect with fellow students and BPM Professionals. Here are some additional details about the program:

Location: BPM San Jose Office (10 Almaden Blvd, San Jose, CA 95113)  

Dates:  
- July 16th, 2026 (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)  
-8:30am - 4:00pm (In-office)
-4:00pm - 6:00pm (Networking Social in Downtown San Jose)

- You will be notified about program participation within a week of your interview
What we're looking for:
  • An interest in learning about public accounting 
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting or related major  
  • Students graduating between 5/1/2028 - 6/30/2030
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work in a team environment 
  • A positive attitude mixed with an innate desire to learn and interact
During the program you can expect to:
  • Learn the day to day differences between Assurance, Tax and Advisory 
  • Learn how to improve your personal brand and sharpen your interviewing skills 
  • Participate in a mock interviews 
  • Mix with senior leaders to better understand their path to success 
  • Hear from former interns who are now BPM Associates 
  • Learn how to study and pass the CPA exam 
  • Network with fellow students and BPM employees for a social games night near the office 
  • Get a jump on future BPM internship opportunities

  • We do not provide transportation and lodging for this event
