Position: Box Office Manager

Compensation: TBD based on box office, ticket sales and customer service experience


We are currently hiring a full time Box Office Manager to oversee ticket sales and customer service aspects of our events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, outgoing music-lover with a passion for customer service. This position will oversee daily tickets sales operations for events at our venues as well as our offsite special events. The position requires prior event-related box office experience. The candidate will work out of our Fountain Square headquarters and be responsible for interacting with customers, box office staffing for events, website maintenance and event ticket creation process. This position provides the perfect opportunity to join our growing team of live music lovers and play an active role in some of Indy's biggest concerts. The Box Office manager reports directly to our Senior Talent Buyers and Venue VP.

Responsibilities

  • Sell tickets and upgrades using our in-house ticketing platforms
  • Schedule and manage all box office staff and VIP upgrade staff for events at HI-FI/HI-FI Annex as well as MOKB Presents at 3rd party rooms/venues
  • Setup and strike of box office and sales centers for events
  • Customer service our guests which include managing inquires via email, phone and in-person
  • Process and manage VIP upgrades, seating requests and customers who require ADA access
  • Settlement and reconciliation of event sales and oversee ticket audits
  • Work with artist management, agents and tour marketing teams to track event sales
  • Manage event listings and updates for company websites
  • Event ticket creation process including ticket builds, fan clubs, pre-sales and external sales partners
  • Print ticket orders for street team, marketing and donation fulfillment


Qualifications

  • Prior ticketing or event management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation
