Job description

DePaul Community Resources is hiring for Personal Care Attendants, part-time (less than 30 hours per week) in the following regions: Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Botetourt County, Bedford, Salem, Montgomery County, Radford, Floyd, Carroll County, and Cana and Dugspar.
JOB SUMMARY
The Personal Care Attendant provides in-home support services to children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or aging diagnoses. This position provides supervision and assistance with the activities of daily living as outlined and authorized on the individual's plan of care.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Prior experience serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or senior citizens is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The following may be required after a conditional job offer: Virginia State Police criminal background check/report with satisfactory results per the discretion of applicable regulatory agencies and DePaul. The applicant shall not have been convicted of any barrier crime(s) on the criminal background report per the regulations of applicable regulatory agencies.
