Job description

Border Bank is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Ag/Business Banker to join our Greenbush team.
This role is ideal for a banking professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and staying actively engaged in their community.
As an Ag/Business Banker, you will provide loan, deposit, and cash-management solutions to business and agricultural clients while representing Border Bank as a trusted partner in the region.
Ag/Business Banker Key Responsibilities
  • Originate agriculture and business loans; manage an assigned portfolio with attention to growth, mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
  • Generate new loan volume through proactive business development and deepening existing client relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients
  • Monitor and work with delinquent loans to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio
  • Create new deposit relationships and expand existing ones
  • Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
  • Actively participate in community and civic organizations, representing Border Bank in the community

Ag/Business Banker Education & Requirements
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Passion for business development and community involvement
  • Solid credit analysis skills
  • 5+ years of banking experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
