Job description

Hi-Vac Corporation, located in Marietta Ohio, is accepting applications for a Blast Booth Operator to work in the Paint Department on night shift.

Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Reading and processing work orders.
  • selecting appropriate materials and tools for each job and planning the sequence.
  • Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malefactions.
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance.
  • Performing basic machine operation.
  • Communicating with the supervisor and paint personnel.
  • Understand the Safety and Proper procedures of operating the equipment.
  • Ability to use forklift to move parts in and out of the blasting booth.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to work in and safely operate the equipment.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Post Secondary Education in Paint or Bodywork.
  • Some experience required.
