Usher – Event-Based Scheduling $15 hourly

Position Summary: The Orpheum Theater is seeking friendly, reliable Ushers to provide an exceptional guest experience during live events. This is a flexible, event-based role where team members select shifts based on their availability and the theater's event schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Scan tickets and assist with entry
  • Escort patrons to their seats and provide directional assistance
  • Answer guest questions regarding the venue, seating, and event details
  • Monitor assigned areas to ensure guest safety and comfort
  • Assist with crowd flow before, during, and after events
  • Provide general support to front-of-house operations as needed

Scheduling & Expectations:

  • This is a flexible, event-based position; shifts are offered based on event needs
  • Team members may accept or decline shifts based on availability
  • Once a shift is accepted, attendance is expected and reliability is essential
