Our premier criminal defense, immigration, and family law firm is looking to immediately add a Bookkeeper to our team of professionals. We are a top-rated and rapidly expanding law firm and are interested in a candidate who is dedicated, reliable, and looking to grow within the practice. Our main office is located near City Hall in downtown Manhattan, NYC, and we have satellite offices in Brooklyn, NY and Garden City, NY. Our law firm operates as a team, with each member bringing their individual strengths and experiences to provide our clients with top-quality representation, no matter what they face. Customer service is of the utmost importance and we believe that the personal attention we give to each of our client's cases helps to ensure solutions tailored to their unique needs. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in an energetic and fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Recording daily financial transactions and completing the posting process

- Entering data, maintaining records, and creating financial statements and reports
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll and commission

- Cross-checking accounting data

- Account reconciliation

- Generation of various financial metric reports

- Showcasing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

- Work independently, prioritizing, and multitasking as necessary

- Familiarizing yourself with various apps, software, and marketing platforms to better serve our clients

- Perform other duties as required

What We Require:

- Up-to-date resume complete with relevant experience including at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience

- Cover letter highlighting your skill set

- Proficiency with Clio case management software, Excel and Google Sheets. 

- College diploma or equivalent

- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the USA
