Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work  to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. ( Salary Negotiable )
Responsibilities
1) Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance. Ensure timely and efficient recording of financial transactions and the performance of monthly reconciliations.
2) Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
3) Maintain and review general ledger activity on a monthly basis and review/prepare monthly account analysis.
4) Assist the team in the development of budgets, planning, and other corporate financial projects
5) Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
6) Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
7) Prepare sales tax returns, business tax license renewals and other business-related tax reporting requirement
8) Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes
9) Stay updated on changes in securities law and accounting regulations
10)Ensure compliance in adherence to controls. Ensure accounting transactions are in compliance with government law, develop financial reports/schedules for consolidations and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field 
  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
